DinoLingo

My son and I spent part of this morning watching DinoLingo videos.  This company has a wide variety of videos specifically for kids to help introduce them to different languages; it is an awesome language learning programs for kids.  We watched the introductory french video.  I particularly like this one because I studied french in high school and it was a fun refresher for me.  The graphics were simple, but effective.  The repetition was helpful in enabling my son to pick up on what was being said.  My son was hesitant to watch at first, but quickly warmed up to the videos and wanted to keep watching. My children are picky eaters. Every meal is a battle that usually begins with "eww gross, I can't believe you are serving that, I'm NOT eating!" Tears typically accompany dinner and sighs of frustration.

I have discovered that waffles are the solution. There is just something about breakfast for dinner that fixes everything. So, in an attempt to keep my children from self-inflicted starvation, it's waffles for dinner. This blog is going to document the many different varieties of waffles that I encounter and my children's reaction to them....all mingled with the craziness of our life.
